What will happen to the humidity without air? How humid shall we feel if there’s no air around us? Humidity is the amount of moisture which the air holds, so hot air is more humid and cold air is less humid. Am I correct? Turns out to be No. The fact is humidity is not actually the amount of water suspended in the air like aerosols, instead it is the amount of water being converted into vapour. Technically water itself has nothing to do with humidity, the air above in the middle of an ocean can be pretty dry (less humid). It’s the water vapour or gas that makes the air so heavy. Now, the air itself is not a carrier for the vapour, it has no such carrying power, I mean water vapour is independent of the presence of air. Obviously , you will rather visit the doctor again after few days and bribe the nurse to steal his stethoscope and then in the middle of the night sell the stethoscope in the black market to get your money back.
